Amy T. Bedard
Librarian
Amy Bedard was hired in the position of Librarian in 2006. A lifelong resident of the North Country, Amy grew up on a dairy farm. Amy holds a bachelors degree in English from SUNY Plattsburgh. She graduated summa cum laude from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Masters of Library Science. Her graduate work focused on the digital divide in rural and small communities. She is also actively involved in working to preserve the history of Heart’s Delight Farm. Her current professional interests include evaluating information needs in agriculture and environmental science communities, maximizing resources in rural and small libraries, using technology for information distribution and historical collections. |
