| Barn had drive through feeding and manure handling capacity, ventilated feed storage systems, and electricity. One of the Holsteins, Clarissa C. Pietertje, produced 32.5 lbs of butter in a seven day test, an outstanding record for 1912. Farm owned 100 Holsteins in 1918. |
