James A. FitzPatrick Library

The library, dedicated in 1990 to former Miner Institute President James A. FitzPatrick, is located next to the Miner Center Educational Building. It houses approximately 5,000 books, research reports, conference proceedings and videos, as well as numerous maps and journal holdings.
The library is also equipped with four networked computers, a color printer and a television with DVD player and VCR.

The library supports the current education and research programs at the Institute.
The collection is especially strong in the areas of dairy cattle nutrition and behavior, equine reproduction and behavior, field crops, nutrient management, forest and wildlife ecology, and soil science.

Requests to borrow materials from the James A. FitzPatrick Library can be made through your local library.
The public is welcome to use the library collection during regular hours.
